Nord Stream pipelines hit by gas leaks - ships and planes told to keep a distance
Publicerad 27 sep 2022 · kl 11:01 · 1:57 min
There are leaks of gas from the underwater Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines south of the Danish island of Bornholm.
It is not yet clear what has caused the leaks, but the Swedish Maritime Administration has detected three separate leaks with visible concentration of gas leaking out.
Ships are told to keep a distance of at least five nautical miles from the area, and planes should stay at least 1000 metres above it, the authorities say.
