Young Swedish striker John Guidetti will make his debut for the senior national side against Croatia next week where he'll have the chance to force his way into the final squad for the European Football Championships in Poland and Ukraine.

The 19-year-old was watched by this Swedish national coach Erik Hamren in Rotterdam at the weekend where Guidetti scored his 18th goal in 17 matches for Feyenoord and was also sent-off.

Hamren said at this afternoon's press conference that Guidetti will feature at some stage in Zagreb on Wednesday and deserves his opportunity to impress.

" He will play, I do not want to go into how long he will play but he will get his chance. He has done very well. 18 goals in 17 matches says everything."

Guidetti, who turns twenty in April, is contracted to English premiership league leaders Manchester City and has been loaned out to Feyenoord to gain first team experience.

Erik Hamren will pick his final 23 man squad for Euro 2012 in May before heading to Gotland for a pre-tournament training camp ahead of the finals in Poland and Ukraine.
