Rise in youth wing members after Norway attack

Publicerad 27 juli 2011 · kl 16:24

Since the terror attacks in Norway last Friday, membership of the Swedish Social Democratic Youth League has increased every day, reports Swedish Radio News.

As of Wednesday, a total of 69 new members had signed up. This trend mirrors that in Norway, which has seen an increase in membership to all the political parties’ youth wings.

Scores of young people from the Norwegian Labour Party’s youth wing were murdered in the attack on the island of Utöya outside of Oslo.
