Debate over Male Circumcision

Once again the controversial question of the circumcision of young boys in Sweden for religious and cultural reasons has captured headlines - with the Swedish Society of Medicine now recommending that such surgical operations should be medically motivated - or else only when the boy reaches his late teens. This is a battle cry against some Muslims and demanding early circumcision - and even for some doctors fearing this would make even more parents turn to unprofessionals.
